Monitoring a settlement involves managing five key statistics: productivity, population, satisfaction, maintenance costs, and sentinel alert level. This opens up what the patch notes make sound like a whole new management game in No Man’s Sky. Players can apply to be a city overseer by leaving their IDs at a memorial in the center of the city. According to the patch notes, these cities include things like houses, cafes, factories, and farms. Players can discover these settlements on the surfaces of inhabited planets by purchasing maps from cartographers or through some missions they may take on. Each is unique and their buildings are made up of the same pieces that players use to build the base. Like the planets and solar systems that make up the universe in No Man’s Sky, cities are procedurally generated. Updates for this game usually come with long patch notice pages on its official website, and this one is no different.
#Nms gisto major update
Hello Games teased Frontiers in early August to celebrate the fifth anniversary of No Man’s Sky, but have not revealed any details about the update to date. It’s safe to say that No Man’s Sky of 2021 is not the same game as it was in 2016. It added multiplayer, base building, VR, and a lot more for free. However, in one of the gaming industry’s biggest comeback stories in recent times, Hello Games has spent the last five years dropping meaty extensions. When Hello Games first launched its space exploration game in 2016, it fell far short of what the developer had promised players for years. The update also brings significant changes to the basic structure.

Players can visit and even manage these cities. It’s called “Frontiers” and it mainly focuses on adding settlements to the surfaces of planets in the game’s procedurally generated universe. Something to look forward to: Hello Games today unveiled its 17th major expansion (version 3.6) for No Man’s Sky.
